Hello and welcome. My name is Andy, I'm a serving secondary school teacher with full DBS certification. Having been through the 11+ as a parent I am aware of how daunting it can appear and the importance of a good tutor. 11+ tutoring is a step towards your child's future and I am here to support you and your child to maximise their potential when they start in Year 7. Experience has taught me that tutoring for the 11+ and entrance exams is a team effort and a continual process.Rather than only one session and one homework per week, I find it is more effective to also incorporate short daily tasks into your child's programme of study that are available on this website. Pupils can receive points for completed tasks and can cash points for rewards. The data also informs me on areas for development.Learning for the 11+ is exponential; fun, methodical learning at first but the ultimate test needed for the exam is the speed required to complete questions at pace.It is for this reason I advise and give guidance on tasks that take 15 minutes each day a year out from the exam, 30 minutes per day 9 months out and an hour a day 6 months out.Sessions are £30 for one hour per person which take place at 19 Marfords Avenue, CH63 0JH and can be booked up to groups of two.

1. Tuition ServicesThe Tutor agrees to provide private 11+ tuition in the following subjects:
Comprehension, Maths, Verbal Reasoning, Non-Verbal Reasoning.Sessions will be held on time agreed at 19 Marfords Ave, CH63 0JH2. Fees & PaymentFee per session: £30Payment method: PaypalPayment frequency: Weekly3. Cancellations & Missed SessionsAt least 24 hours’ notice is required for cancellations.Sessions cancelled with less than 24 hours’ notice may be charged at full rate.If the tutor cancels, the session will be rescheduled or refunded.4. ResponsibilitiesThe Tutor will prepare and deliver lessons tailored to the student’s needs.5. Confidentiality & SafeguardingAll information shared during tuition will be treated confidentially.
